The Red Devils have officially announced the departure of O’Boyle, who has been a key figure in the club for the last year. According to reports from The Mail and other sources, he was instrumental in completing transfer deals worth a staggering £200 million this summer.

Manchester United's deputy football director Andy O’Boyle has left the club by mutual consent.AdvertisementAdvertisement

Given United now have sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox, they do not need O’Boyle.

The club also has Omar Berrada as CEO and Christopher Vivell as director of recruitment.
